# Is MetaFlight a multiplayer game?

Yes, but not in a traditional “session-based” way.

MetaFlight is a shared persistent world:

- players fly independently
- all flights impact the same economy
- demand and opportunities evolve continuously

You play in the same world, even when others are offline.
