First of all, you’ll now be able to view your career level directly from your dashboard. A blue box indicates that you have validated this level, while a blue dot represents your current level.
It’s important to remember that you can gain or lose experience points (XP points). These features are also available in the freemium version but with restricted access from career level 2 upwards.
Let’s get straight to the heart of the matter with our newest feature, PaxNCargo.
From now on, you’ll be able to load passengers and cargo aboard your plane, just like in real life. This will allow you to accumulate XP points and progress in your career level.
This feature will also be available for free-mode flights, but you won’t be able to accumulate XP points, so you won’t advance in your career level.
You’ll have to comply with air safety regulations and take care of your passengers throughout the flight, with beverage and meal service, in-flight sales with Duty-Free service, and activation of the in-flight entertainment system (IFE).
These elements will have an impact on the mood and satisfaction of your passengers, which in turn will influence the XP points you earn at the end of the flight.
As a reminder, XP points are calculated according to the number and type of passengers, the cargo carried, the passenger satisfaction rate, and the duration of the flight. So you can win or lose XP points depending on your performance!
Furthermore, this new version of MetaFlight offers you new missions to meet the demands of the global airline market.
Be careful! Before launching a mission, make sure you’re at the departure airport and have the required career level.
Don’t worry, you can use the Jumpseat function, which you can pay for with your FlightCoins, to get to any airport instantly and never miss a mission.
For missions, flight data will be pre-filled. All you need to do is choose the aircraft model you wish to bid on and configure the passenger and cargo loads according to your Payload.
Now you can easily generate or import your Simbrief flight plan with a single click. This means you can view your flight plan in detail on the map and in OFP format for the duration of the flight.
Pending the development of the Airline Manager module, we have suspended the interconnection with AirFrance Virtuel. This allows us to optimize application performance and focus on the development of future modules. However, you will still be able to book your flights on AFRv and retrieve them automatically from the usual menu.
However, this is a quick way to retrieve the flight information booked to fly with MetaFlight and benefit from its features.
Don’t forget! To register your flight with AFRv, you’ll need to launch the Smartacars tracker in parallel.
